Here’s the thing, I don’t read a lot of ‘”fun” books. I think the books I read are fun, but I’m probably the only one fascinated by non-fiction. However, my husband reads a lot more fiction books, and a large variety of books overall. So, I asked him to put together a list of 23 books he would recommend to others. I thought he would need some time to prep a list for me, but he immediately started listing off book titles for me to write down.

My husband does most of his books on Audible or the Libby app. I’ve talked about the Libby app before in my post about books I loved in 2022. It’s such a great app, and a great way to support your library. You can borrow ebooks and audio books for 3 weeks from your local library (you just link your library card). You may have to wait for a book to be available, but I have found that the waitlists usually move quickly. If a book I want isn’t available through Libby (they only have what your library has available), then I go with the Audible app.

So here it is – 23 books to read in 2023 (my husbands picks). My husband tells me that a lot of these books are the first of a series as well, so this is a great starting point. I have linked each book on Amazon if you prefer audible or physical books, or if you want to gift any of these (books are such a great gift idea by the way). The links are affiliate links, so I may earn a small commission when you shop through those links. You can learn more about the affiliate links on my affiliate disclosure page here.
