A new month, and a new batch of my current favorite products! I love a new month, but I especially love February. January sometimes drags on and feels like it’s about 1,000 days long. And it’s still cold and snowy. But once February hits, it feels like a fresh start and a big step closer to spring (even though it’ll still be chilly here in Cleveland for a bit). This year, we had the sun shining on February 1st for the first time in a few days. It just feels good!

Anyway, each month I love to share what my favorite things have been. And I also love hearing what yours are. Some of these items, I just purchased in the last month, and some I bought a while ago. But they all are in my top ten right now. Enjoy! (and promise me you’ll comment below your favorites!)

For Mom

  • Lululemon New Crew Backpack: I got this as a Christmas gift, and I just started using it as a diaper bag in the last month. I love it as a diaper bag! It’s beautiful, has plenty of space, and isn’t too bulky or heavy. It is on the pricier side, but honestly so worth it for a high quality diaper bag. I just heard that Lululemon came out with an actual diaper bag too, and I actually like the look of this one better.
  • Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler, MPH: I am currently reading this book and I am loving it. I’ve had a lot of friends read this and recommend it. I’m almost bummed I didn’t read it sooner. And it has kind of blown my mind how much I didn’t know about my own body. Crazy, right?
  • Soda Ankle Booties: I think I shared these in last months favorite things too. But there are still a current favorite! I wear them almost every day. They look great with leggings, straight leg jeans, and with a skirt and tights. I recommend going up a half size though so you have room for thicker winter socks. I got my regular size, and they are a smidge tight when I’ve got thick socks on.
  • Ebonee Sage Knit Sweater: I got this sweater back in December, but it’s still real cold here in Cleveland so I’m getting to wear it often. It’s so fun!! And it’s on sale right now!

For The Kids

  • Member’s Mark Kids’ Explorer Sofa: If you’re a parent, then you’ve probably heard of the Nugget or all the other play couches out there. I finally got my kids one for Christmas this year, but after tons on research, I went with the Sam’s Club version. This keeps my kids so entertained, and they use it in some form for every game. And the added bonus is that it is pretty comfy in my opinion, and I have taken a few great naps on the play couch. I will warn you though – it took my kids a few weeks to figure out how to move the pieces around on their own. My older kids are 4 and 3. At first, they needed me to do the builds for them. But now they are pretty confident in moving it around, and really only ask for my help occasionally.

For The Home

  • Mighty Minty Natural Insect And Pest Control: Okay, I am terrified of spiders and bugs. And Cleveland has centipedes! Nothing freaks me out like those. I’ve been getting this spray for a few months and spraying regularly. I have noticed a big difference. I spray around our basement every couple weeks, and I spray around the doorframes, windows and baseboards in the rest of the house maybe once a month. I might go a bit overboard with it, but it doesn’t have a bunch of chemicals and I definitely see less centipedes and spiders. I think my husband also gets the gallon size to spray our yard and around the outside of the house each summer.
  • Yosuda Stationary Bike: We got this bike for Christmas and I have loved it. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that the Peloton has, but I think it still works great for me and is affordable. I also found Kaleigh Cohen Cycling on Youtube and have really enjoyed her classes.
  • Pen+Gear Storage Box: My husband brought home a bunch of these for me that they no longer need at one of his stores. I have used them for organizing toys and under the bathroom sink. I have the large size, and I kind of want more. I love that they have a lid that is easy to pop on and off. And they aren’t too big. Ours have white lids, but it looks like they only have ones with a wood grain look lid right now.

Let me know in the comments what your favorites are for this month, and if we have any favorites in common. And what is a must have item I need to try?
