Last Christmas, I saw so many women talk on social media about how their husbands left their stocking empty. Well, not this year! It’s time to build a stocking your wife will LOVE this Christmas. (And honestly this could work for a teenage girl too!) Don’t just buy random stuff last minute at Target. Let’s put some effort in here. I am going to break down exactly what you need to buy so it is so easy. Your wife does so much during the holidays. Don’t leave her stocking empty.

Even if your wife fills her own stocking (I do my own because I’m a control freak), add in a couple extras for her! That’s what my husband does and I always look forward to what he’s going add each year.

Here are the 5 things you need to buy!

#1 A Treat

Start off easy with her favorite treat. This could be a chocolate bar, a bag of candy, a drink she loves. Easy Peasy!

#2 A Skin Product

For this category, you’re going to get a skin product. This could be a lotion, a face serum, or maybe even a mask. I’ve listed a few ideas below to get you started! If you aren’t sure, a lotion is usually a good bet. Or you could even stop by Ulta or Sephora and they will help you out.

#3 A Gift Card

Now, I wouldn’t go for a basic Target or Amazon gift card here. Unless your wife loves Target more than anything. I would get a gift card for something she loves, but doesn’t usually spend the money on. Maybe her favorite restaurant with enough for her and a friend to have lunch. Or a gift card to her favorite clothing store with enough for a new outfit. Even a Starbucks or Dutch Bros gift card would be amazing so she can grab herself a treat during all her carpools and errands.

#4 A Piece of Jewelry

Whether she likes any and all jewelry, or prefers simple earrings or necklaces. This is something she’ll love. One thing before you buy her something – double check what jewelry she already wears. Don’t get her silver jewelry if she always wears gold jewelry. Get what matches her other pieces. Here are some that I love:

#5 Something Extra Fun

This can be just about anything extra! Doesn’t have to be anything fancy or expensive. I listed off tons of ideas here:
