It’s September! School has started and it feels like our routine is back. In August, our dishwasher broke, so I feel like I spent the entire month hand washing dishes. And we already caught a couple back to school bugs. But it’s a new month (with a new dishwasher). So, now it’s time for one of my favorite blog posts of the month – my favorite buys!

I genuinely love sharing the cool and useful stuff with you each month. It’s so fun to me! So the bad news is that if you hate these, they aren’t going away anytime soon. Let’s get into it! And as always, comment below which items you’ve bought lately that I need to try!

Candles | Ice Cream Maker | Fractional Weight Plates | Rower | Elderberry Gummies | Bug Spray | Magnet Calendar

Candles

My husband added this pack of candles to one of his Amazon orders, and I love them! Half the candles are more summery/fruity smells. While the others will be perfect for fall. One of them smells so similar to my husbands cologne, which I LOVE.

I think I’ve shared a new candle every month in my favorite buys post. Sorry, not sorry. I love candles.

Ice Cream Bowl For KitchenAid

My husband got me this for my birthday, and I’m already obsessed with it. We made a big batch of vanilla ice cream as soon as we got it, and it was one of the best we’ve had. It has already become our new go to dish to bring to dinner and share with friends. I’m going to try a salted caramel ice cream this week. And maybe some sort of coconut ice cream. Send me all your best recipes, please! I love that it fits right onto my KitchenAid too. I store the bowl in my deep freezer, so it’s always ready when I want to make ice cream. This bowl fits onto both the bowl lift and the tilt head KitchenAid, too!

Dumbbell Fractional Weight Plates

I have been really trying to go up in weight in a few exercises, but the adjustable dumbbells I have jump by 11 lbs. We got these clips so I can add in a few more pounds for each move until I can make the full jump. I love them. They are so easy to use, and have hooked onto both types of dumbbells I have just fine. My only wish is that we got two sets.

Rower

My husband has been eyeing a rower for a while now, just waiting for a good price. So when this one went on sale this summer, he snagged it immediately. (Are you noticing that my husband is the biggest Amazon shopper at our house. He buys the best stuff, and always finds great deals). Well, I kind of took over his rower. I love it. This one connects to an app where you can track your workouts or do a class. You could also look up tons of rower workouts on YouTube.

Elderberry Gummies

I bought these last winter because I felt like we were getting sick over and over again. But once it warmed up, and school was out, we stopped taking them. But now that school has started, my daughter has already brought home a couple bugs. So I bought them again to get us through this school year. Last winter, my kids had one every day and it definitely helped. I would take them if I felt like I was getting sick, and it always kicked my cold so much faster. This year, I’ll probably have everyone take it every day until we get through cold season.

Bug Spray

I LOVE this spray. I use it constantly in our house. I spray it on baseboards, mattresses, couches, doorframes, pretty much anything. I’ve been noticing more bugs in our basement lately, so I ordered more and will spray down there again. My husband also uses this one from the same company to spray the outside of our house and our yard.

Magnet Calendar

Towards the end of summer, I started to realize that our fall calendar was filling up so fast. In the past, I kept track of things with my phone calendar, and it worked just fine. But now that we have so much happening each week, I needed something that the whole family can visually see. So this has been perfect for us. Definitely one of my top buys this year. I love that it’s easy for me and my husband to write in what’s going on in our week. I even add in what’s planned for dinner throughout the week. Having it visible for everyone just makes it so convenient!

Comment below what things you bought this month that you have loved and recommend so I can try them too!
