I have had my eye on that really popular bedding that zips up. (You probably know exactly what I am talking about) Butttttt it is almost $200 for a twin size set, I have 3 kids and a budget. That is just not going to work for me.
So I have been searching for a dupe for so long. I even searched for tutorials to make my own. And I finally found a dupe that is less than $60 each! So I have to share it to help out any other moms who have also been dreaming of zip up bedding for their kids.

Our kids have been using this zip up bedding for almost 2 months now. We’ve washed them several times since with no issues. And my favorite part? My kids actually make their beds every day, and often without being asked because it is sooo easy for them to do. And their beds always look nicely done. I am a big fan of making beds every single morning, so anything we can do to get it done, and get it done easily, is a win.
We also love having everything all combined. Before we had a fitted sheet, top sheet, comforter, pillow cases, mattress protectors and my kids favorite blankets for each bed. And that makes for a lot of laundry, and a lot of space in the linen closet taken up. Now we just have the comforter set, mattress protectors and their favorite blankets. I have been keeping extra fitted sheets in case we need them in the middle of the night. But I will probably just order a back up set of the zip up bedding for each kid instead.

Okay now here is the catch. I only have 2 complaints about these. 1. I wish that they had more patterns available right now. My kids did love the options they had, but I just wish they had more subtle patterns to match their rooms better. It’s a me problem though, and seriously my kids love the patterns. And complaint 2. One of my kids really favors one side of their bed, and I noticed that because of the design of the bedding and how often this child leans to that side, it pulls the sheet off the corner every couple days. But it was an easy fix. I added bed sheet straps to the bed, and have had no issues since. My other kids don’t move around as hard, so it’s not an issue for theirs at all.
I read tons of the reviews before buying these, and some complained of the zipper getting stuck. We have had the zipper get caught a little when the sheet gets mixed up with the zipper teeth, (like if you were zipping up your coat and your shirt was in the way) but it’s been rare for us, and it only takes a second to adjust. It doesn’t bother me at all.
Seriously, this has been one of my favorite Amazon buys to date. I love them, my kids love them, my bank account loves them. We highly recommend!
